H2i sumo™ systems provide 100% heating capacity down to -10 Degrees Fahrenheit outdoor ambient (without wind chill) temperature. Control your comfort with room-by-room control, a more efficient way to cool and heat your home or business. In addition to being quiet, intelligent and efficient, our systems provide extraordinary service life for a lower cost of ownership. With this technology, it's simple to assign your bedrooms, kitchen, living room, office, basement and other spaces to different "zones" so each room is always comfortable. Once you decide what temperature you'd like a specific zone to be, the system will quietly maintain that temperature while using the least amount of energy needed. For additional energy savings, you have the option to not cool and heat unused rooms.
  • Advanced Filtration System
  • The MSZ-FX Series uses Triple Action Filtration which combines enzyme, deodorizing and hybrid filters to capture allergens, neutralize odors and improve indoor air quality for a cleaner, healthier home environment.
  • 3D i-see Sensor
  • The MSZ-FX Series 3D i-see Sensor monitors its zone for fluctuations in temperature. If it detects an underserved area, it will temporarily direct airflow to that zone. It also enters energy saving mode if no human heat signatures are detected.
  • Precision Temperature Control Technology
  • The outdoor condenser is equipped with inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. These components improve temperature accuracy and system efficiency through precise adjustments of both compressor speed and refrigerant flow.
  • Dual Barrier Coating
  • A special coating is applied to the heat exchanger, vanes and fan to prevent hydrophilic and hydrophobic dirt build-up.

  • Mitsubishi's hot-start technology prevents cold drafts by delaying fan operation until the heat exchanger has warmed up.

  • Smart Dry+
  • Smart Dry+ mode intelligently manages humidity by adjusting airflow and temperature, ensuring optimal comfort without overcooling.
  • Powerful Mode
  • The powerful setting on the MSZ-FX makes it easy to get your zone to the perfect temperature quickly. When it is activated, the unit temporarily increases refrigerant flow and fan speed to provide quick comfort through rapid heating or cooling.
  • Integrated Base Pan Heater
  • These MUZ-FX outdoor condensers have a factory-installed base pan heater in the drain pain. This prevents condensate from freezing and damaging the unit in frigid climates.
  • Econo Cool Mode
  • By slowly adjusting the cooling set point and swinging the horizontal vanes, the MSZ-FX can improve the efficiency of cooling operations without compromising the comfort provided.
  • Vane Control
  • Thanks to its dual vane feature, the MSZ-FX can deliver airflow across a large area or to two people in different locations simultaneously.

  • Condensers are constantly exposed to wind, dust and salty air that take their toll on your unit. Mitsubishi coats their condensers with an anti-rust coating to extend its lifespan.
