Our dynamic-rated fire dampers are intended for installation in an HVAC system that does NOT shut off in the occurrence of a fire. These dampers are specially designed to close against the added pressure and velocity created by the HVAC system’s fan. Dynamic dampers can be installed in both dynamic (fans on) and static (fans off) HVAC systems. NCA offers dynamic fire dampers as either curtain-style or multi-blade with an hourly fire rating of 1.5 or 3 hours.
